After accepting Jesus as my savior in the "Good news caboose" at the fair when I was five, I informed my dad that I had "prayed decently" and wanted to talk about my new decision with our pastor at FellowshipBaptistChurch. (Pastor Richard Covington at the time.) As a young teen, I decided to make FBC my church home and enjoyed taking part in choir and youth activities. I met a very nice boy at one of the family game nights that our youth group put on. A few years later we were married in the sanctuary of the church where we had first met. We are now blessed with three small children and the knowledge that they are loved and cared for by all of our church family. God continues to grow our marriage and bless our family through the wisdom and kindness of the friends we have here at FBC. My goal as the secretary here is to be a model of God's desire to help others. As I aid this body of believers in the need of administrative duties and the self-appointed need for odd humor, I hope to be an example of God's call for us to put others first so that more may be saved.
