Mike has been leading church music for almost twenty years. It all started in Houston, TX at Sherwood Forest Baptist Church. Then a short time later at Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Cypress, TX. In 2006, God led Mike and his family to Billings, Mt and Fellowship Baptist Church as a result of a position that opened through his company where he works full time. Mike was born in Oklahoma, but due to his fathers work, had to move many times over the next 12 years. He accepted Christ as his personal savior as a young of nine in Michigan. In 1977, he moved to Glendive, MT where he stayed for the next nine years. He was baptized at First Baptist Church and met his wife while a sophomore at DCHS and still has family there. He considers Montana as his home. "This is where God lives, so this is where I want to be". Mike believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to hear God’s word and come to know Him through it. “That’s why we are here, to be a beacon in this and surrounding areas”.
